5 differences examiners often notice

Date:

A strong answer sheet does not look cramped. Even when the content is rich, it is broken into readable parts. Ideas are separated cleanly. Long blocks of text are rare. The handwriting may not be perfect, but the presentation allows the examiner to follow the flow without strain.

This matters more than many students realise. Examiners read quickly, often for long stretches, and a well-structured page signals confidence. Headings, underlining used sparingly, neat spacing between answers and a logical sequence all help. A topper’s paper often feels less like a rush job and more like a guided tour.
