A 27-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh died after falling from the terrace
Trichy: A 27-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh died after falling from the terrace of his rental house at E Pudur in Trichy last week.Police identified the deceased as K Rahul from Faizabad. Police said Rahul was drunk and was talking to his wife on the phone when the incident took place.Rahul was working at a private windmill component production unit near Manikandam in Trichy district. He rented a house at RC Nagar. On the night of July 5, he accidentally slipped and fell from the terrace when talking with his wife on the phone, police said. He sustained a severe head injury and was admitted to MGMGH Trichy. However, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday. Police registered a case and are investigating.
