KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – After what has been a stormy last several weeks, the severe storm threat holds off for the next couple of days. Regular rain & storms chances mix into the forecast but no severe threat is expected.
Tonight, cloud cover will break up a bit. This will allow for temperatures to fall into the mid 40s by Tuesday morning.
Tuesday: Spotty Regular Rain & Rumbles
Tuesday will start of mostly sunny to partly cloudy and dry. However, between 11 AM and 6 PM a spotty 30% chance for regular rain & rumbles. Mostly cloudy skies take over the rest of the day. High temperatures will be much cooler due to clouds and Monday’s cold front. High temperatures only reach the low to mid 60s, the metro will top out around 63 degrees.
Wednesday: Dry & Sunny
We get a much needed break from rain & storms on Wednesday! Mostly sunny skies are expected throughout the day with high temperatures in the mid 60s.
Thursday: Scattered Rain & Storms Return
A 40% chance for regular rain & storms return Thursday afternoon to evening. There are no indications of severe storms at this time. High temperature remain cooler than average in the mid 60s.
Friday into the Weekend
Friday and Saturday bring high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s with mostly to partly cloudy skies. High temperatures rise into the mdi 70s for Sunday but a 30% chance for rain & storms is in place.
