Brock Lesnar has carved out one of the most remarkable WWE careers of all time. However, there is one particular event that has seemingly been his playground for years, i.e., SummerSlam. Interestingly, Lesnar can be called one of the most successful and celebrated SummerSlam competitors, and for good reason.Ever since he had his debut match at WWE SummerSlam in 2002, Brock Lesnar has main evented nine editions of the event, which is the most for any WWE superstar, and won five of them. In fact, in his debut itself, he competed in the main event of the show and defeated The Rock to become the new WWE Champion. Furthermore, Lesnar has left SummerSlam twice as the new World Champion and walked into the event as the champion thrice, all for main event matches. This has made it one of the most impressive accolade held by a WWE superstar in the history of the company.
Brock Lesnar will compete at WWE SummerSlam 2026
Brock Lesnar is set to compete at this year’s SummerSlam, which will take place in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is scheduled to battle Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell. This will be the third and perhaps, final in-ring encounter in one of the the most heated rivalries that has developed this year. On the road to WrestleMania 42, Oba Femi accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge for a match at the show. On Night 2 of WrestleMania, The Ruler delivered a dominant performance against The Beast and handed him a crushing defeat. Following the match, Lesnar took off his gloves and boots and hinted at potential retirement from the ring. However, he returned a month later and attacked Femi setting the stage for their rematch at WWE Clash in Italy. Lesnar went on to win that match by delivering seven F-5s to Femi, making it 1-1.On the RAW after Night of Champions, Oba Femi was about to make his choice for a title match at SummerSlam after winning the King of the Ring. However, he was interrupted by Brock Lesnar, who took him down with a low-blow and F-5. As he was leaving, Femi decided to forgo his title shot and challenged Lesnar to a third match.
