MSBSHSE Class 12 Result 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the HSC Result 2026 statistics, recording an overall pass percentage of 89.79 per cent. The results of the Class 12 examinations will be made available to students online at 12 noon through official platforms.The HSC examinations were conducted between February 10 and March 18, 2026. A total of 14,44,713 students appeared for the examination, out of which 14,33,058 candidates have successfully passed. The latest figures reflect a decline of 2.09 per cent compared to the previous year’s overall pass percentage of 91.88 per cent.Gender-wise performance detailsGirls have once again recorded a higher pass percentage than boys in the HSC Result 2026. The pass percentage for girls stands at 93.15 per cent, while boys have recorded 86.80 per cent. The gap in performance between the two categories remains consistent with previous trends observed by the board.Division-wise results across MaharashtraAmong the nine divisional boards, Konkan division has secured the highest pass percentage at 94.14 per cent. Latur division has recorded the lowest pass percentage at 84.14 per cent. Stream-wise performance analysisThe board has released detailed stream-wise statistics along with the result announcement. The Science stream has recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.44 per cent. Commerce students have achieved a pass percentage of 87.03 per cent, while the Arts stream has recorded 78.02 per cent.Vocational education stream has reported a pass percentage of 82.74 per cent, while ITI stands at 81.78 per cent. These figures indicate differences in performance across academic and skill-based streams in the current examination cycle.Examination scale and participationThe HSC 2026 examinations were conducted across 3,387 centres using 61,484 classrooms. Over 15 lakh students appeared for the examination across Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational and ITI streams, reflecting the large scale of the state-level assessment process.Result access and marksheet detailsStudents will be able to access their results online through official websites and digital platforms. The online marksheets made available after the declaration will be provisional in nature. Candidates are required to collect original mark sheets from their respective junior colleges after the board completes the distribution process.The digital marksheets will include subject-wise marks secured by students and can be used for initial admission procedures. Further processes such as verification of marks, photocopies of answer sheets and re-evaluation will be conducted through the board’s official system as per prescribed guidelines.
