Bhubaneswar: BJP’s state unit on Wednesday held a key organisational review meeting here, chaired by state president and Rajya Sabha MP Manmohan Samal, with a focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots and preparing for future electoral challenges.Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal, Odisha BJP in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, state general secretary (organisation) Manas Kumar Mohanty, state office-bearers and district in-charges attended the meeting.According to a party statement, detailed discussions were held on organisational activities, strengthening the party structure down to the booth-level and increasing public awareness about the welfare initiatives of both the Centre and the state govt. The leaders reviewed various measures being implemented to bolster booth-level units and emphasised expanding the reach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to every booth across the state.The meeting also focused on ensuring effective delivery of govt welfare schemes to beneficiaries and discussed a roadmap for upcoming electoral activities. While asserting that the BJP remains election-ready at all times, the leadership stressed the need for sustained organisational outreach.
