‘Idhayam Murali’ actor Atharvaa is basking in the success of the film and recently said the movie was much more than just another project for him. The actor shared several memories from the two years spent making the film and thanked everyone who worked on it.
Atharvaa Shares his feelings at success meet
According to a report by Cinema Express, during the success meet of the film, Atharvaa compared the event to a school reunion. He said, “Honestly, this feels like the last day of school when everyone gathers for a reunion. That’s exactly how I feel today.”Atharvaa revealed that he was not fully convinced about the title ‘Idhayam Murali’ when director Aakash Baskaran first suggested it. Since the film is a light-hearted love story, he wondered if the title would suit it.
Atharvaa talks about the film’s title
He recalled asking the director, “We’re making a light-hearted love story. Will a title like this work?” He said Aakash always replied, “Bro, trust me. It’ll become a good film.” Looking at the film’s success now, Atharvaa said, “Today, I feel he has fulfilled that promise.”Atharvaa also said the title ‘Idhayam Murali’ is very close to his heart because it carries the name of his late father, actor Murali. He shared that he always wanted to honour his father through a film.The actor said working on ‘Idhayam Murali’ was a special experience. He explained that many scenes were created through improvisation. The actors often received the scene pages only after reaching the shooting location. They then worked together to build the performances.Atharvaa also said the entire cast and crew had lunch together every day. He added, “Initially, we wondered why everyone was being called for lunch every single day. But slowly, we became one family. I think we’re all so close today because of those small off-screen moments.”
