Earthquake reported in southwest Ohio Sunday morning

A minor earthquake was reported throughout part of southwestern Ohio on Sunday.According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.5-magnitude earthquake was felt in Hillsboro at approximately 5:50 a.m.The 2.5 measurement puts the earthquake at the weaker end of the Richter scale. Despite this, some residents who live around the area reported being able to feel it.USGS said the rupture occurred 6.4 kilometers (4 miles) below the Earth’s surface.It was not immediately clear if the earthquake caused any damage to surrounding property.More details about the earthquake from USGS can be found here.
