It is almost time to feast your eyes on ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ trailer. Hours before the clip of the Aditya Dhar directorial could release online, the makers seemed to have got fans excited by teasing the impressive trailer runtime. The makers in a tweet, announced that the trailer starring Ranveer Singh in the lead will be “4 minutes” long. The tweet read, “4 Minutes Of Pure Adrenaline Rush Trailer In Just A Few Hours.”The post came ahead of its debut at 11:01 am, which was announced a day in advance by Singh on his official handle.
‘Dhurandhar 2 ‘ to match ‘Dhurandhar’ trailer runtime
The sequel’s trailer is not only expected to match the length, but also the scale of the first film. The trailer of the original ‘Dhurandhar’, released in November 2025, ran for 4 minutes and 8 seconds and quickly became the centre of online conversation and clocked in over 93 million views on YouTube.Unlike the usual trailer drops, this one largely avoided revealing the central premise of the story. Instead, it introduced the film’s key characters. Among them were Arjun Rampal as the “Angel of Death” Major Iqbal, R. Madhavan as the “Charioteer of Karma” Ajay Sanyal, Akshaye Khanna as the “Apex Predator” Rehman Dakait, and Sanjay Dutt as “The Jinn” SP Chaudhary Aslam. The trailer concluded with a rapid montage of action sequences before finally unveiling Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari, described as the “Wrath of God”.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ runtime
The sequel, directed by Dhar, has already generated considerable buzz for its reported runtime. Early listings on international booking platforms in markets such as Australia and the United States suggested a massive duration of 3 hours and 55 minutes. If confirmed, it would make the film one of the longest Hindi films in modern cinema. The runtime would even make it around 30 minutes longer than the first instalment.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ to have wide release
Unlike the first film, which was released only in Hindi, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is set for a much wider rollout. The film will hit cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, in Hindi as well as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ to have solo release
The sequel is also expected to benefit from a solo release box office window in India. Yash announced last week that his action thriller ‘Toxic’ has moved its release to June 4, 2026, thus avoiding a clash. In their statement, the team cited the rising tensions in the Middle East affecting global schedules.Meanwhile, the Hollywood sci-fi film ‘Project Hail Mary’, starring Ryan Gosling, has reportedly shifted its India release from March 20 to March 27, potentially giving ‘Dhurandhar 2’ an undisputed theatrical run during its opening week.
