Strade Bianche, it’s one of the best races on the calendar.
And it’s coming to light up your life this Saturday with its mouthwatering cocktail of gravel roads, steep climbs, and picture-perfect finale.
And like always, the startlists for this so-called “monument” look as delicious as the parcours.
Not to bury the lede – Tadej Pogačar is back.
The Slovenian debuts his season at Strade Bianche on Saturday, and upstarts like Paul Seixas and Tom Pidcock will be trying to steal the double defending champion’s crown in Siena.
Or who knows, maybe Pogi’s teammate Isaac del Toro will upset the hierarchy at team UAE?
And speaking of returning Tour de France champions?
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will kickstart her 2026 in Tuscany on Saturday against a who’s-who of hitters.
Two-time Strade Bianche Donne winners Demi Vollering and Lotte Kopecky will be joined on the start line by road and CX world champions Magdeliene Vallieres and Lucinda Brand, and many, many more.
If you’re not hyped enough already, the men’s and women’s races could pack even more punch in 2026 than they did in recent years.
Race organizers RCS have trimmed the overall distances of Saturday’s races and reduced the density of sterrato to promote more open, explosive racing.
