The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has released the notification for Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) recruitment 2026, announcing 600 vacancies under the state’s Elementary Education Department. The notification was issued on March 9, 2026, and the online application process will begin from March 16, 2026 on the commission’s official website.Eligible candidates seeking teaching positions in government primary schools in Himachal Pradesh will be able to apply online within the specified application window. Eligibility criteria

Additionally, candidates must have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the appropriate authority.Alternatively, candidates with a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree or those with a graduation degree along with a two-year D.El.Ed. qualification may also be eligible to apply, depending on the applicable recruitment rules.The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 45 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
