For the unversed, in ‘Dhurandhar’, Gaurav Gera played Mohammad Alam, the owner of a juice shop in Lyari town and Hamza’s handler in ‘Dhurandhar 2’.An X (formerly Twitter) user shared a post praising Gaurav Gera for the acting range he showed in the film and called him one of Bollywood’s most underrated actors. Ranvir Shorey reposted the same and added, “One of the most talented and underrated actors of the country! Besides that, he also doesn’t get enough credit for being one of the pioneers of great digital content in India! @gauravgera is a genius and a powerhouse of talent, and I’m glad the world is finally waking up to him!”

In a recent episode of ‘Wheel of Fortune’, hosted by Akshay Kumar, Gaurav Gera shared how people were shocked after learning he played the role of Mohammad Alam. He said, “Bahut saare log toh pehchaan hi nahi paate dadi ke wajah se. Unhe vishvaas hi nahi hota ki woh main hi tha. (A lot of people are still unable to believe that it was me in that character, mostly because of the beard).”
