AP staff nurse recruitment 2026: The Office of the Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Guntur (Zone-III), has published a notification, No. 01/2026, regarding the recruitment of 150 staff nurses. The appointments will be made for the Government General Hospital at Piduguralla in the Palnadu district. The appointments will be on a contract basis.The candidates interested in the posts need to submit their application through offline mode. The application process started on March 17, 2026. The candidates need to submit the application form by 5 pm on March 25, 2026.Vacancy details and appointment termsThe recruitment process is for the recruitment of 150 staff nurse vacancies under Zone-III (Guntur). The number of vacancies is only tentative. It may be changed according to the department’s requirements. The candidates appointed through the recruitment process will be initially appointed for a period of one year from the date of joining. The merit list will be valid for a period of one year from the date of publication.Eligibility criteria and age limitsThe candidates should be qualified in B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution. This qualification will be used to compute the service weightage for the contract/outsourced services after the completion of the relevant course.The upper age limit is set at 42 years as on March 1, 2026. The fee is Rs. 500 for OC candidates and Rs. 300 for SC, ST, BC and PwBD applicants.The application form must be downloaded, printed, and filled in English. The applicants have to affix a recent passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of educational, nursing council, category, and experience certificates. The completed application form, along with the Demand Draft, has to be submitted in person or by post to the Office of the Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Guntur, within the specified time period. An acknowledgement slip is also sent.
