RBSE Class 10 result 2026: Rechecking, re-exam process explained; check how to apply

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officially released the Class 10 Result 2026 yesterday, March 24, 2026, around 1 PM. The results were made live on the board’s official websites: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in. Around 6.08 lakh students had registered for the exam, which was conducted from February 21 to February 28, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.23%, slightly higher than last year’s 93.06%.Now, the board has also issued detailed guidelines for students who are not satisfied with their marks and wish to apply for scrutiny, obtain answer sheet copies, or go for re-examination in selected subjects.

Scrutiny: What it means

RBSE has clarified that scrutiny does not mean full re-evaluation of answers. Instead, it only includes checking for:

  • Errors in total marks calculation
  • Missing marks for any question
  • Mistakes in transferring marks

No fresh checking of answers is done under scrutiny.

New option this year: Re-examination

From this year, RBSE has introduced a re-examination option for specific subjects:

  • English
  • Science
  • Mathematics

Students can apply for re-checking first and then request re-examination in these subjects if needed.

How to apply

Students can apply online through the RBSE official website or via e-Mitra centers. Applications must be submitted within:

  • 7 days of result declaration with normal fee
  • Additional 3 days with late fee

Offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.Application fees

  • Scrutiny fee: ₹400 per subject
  • Late fee: ₹800 per subject
  • Objection fee: ₹100 per subject
  • Re-examination fee: ₹100 per question

Important rules students must know

  • Students can apply for scrutiny only once
  • Marks may increase or decrease after checking
  • Fees will not be refunded in any case
  • Students must upload a valid ID (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.) while applying
  • Correct mobile number and email ID are important to receive updates

Answer sheet access

After applying, students will receive login details via SMS or email. They can:

  • Download their scanned answer sheets
  • Check results within 5 days of upload

The answer sheet will remain available online for a limited time only.

Raising objections

If students find any issue after viewing their answer sheet, they can raise objections online within 5 days. They must provide proper details such as:

  • Subject name
  • Question number
  • Supporting proof

No offline or late objections will be accepted.RBSE has advised students not to rush into applying for scrutiny just to increase marks. Changes happen only in a small number of cases, and decisions taken by the board after rechecking or re-examination will be final.Students are also advised to continue with their next academic steps instead of waiting for revised results.
