“Hannah Montana” fans are being offered the chance to “live the best of both worlds” by spending the night inside the Malibu beach house where Miley Cyrus‘ iconic Disney character lived with her family on the hit show.
The oceanfront abode, which last changed hands in 1985, when it sold for just $1.3 million, has been on the market since July 2025, when it was listed with an asking price of $21 million. It has also been made available as a rental property for anywhere between $60,000 and $80,000 a month.
However, in honor of the newly released “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” on Disney+, it is now being offered up on Airbnb for a much more reasonable price: $0.
Two decades after “Hannah Montana” first premiered, the property has been transported back to its days as a TV set, courtesy of a dramatic makeover that has seen the primary bedroom in the dwelling turned into popstar Hannah’s colorful sanctuary that will no doubt be instantly recognizable to her fans.
Images from the Airbnb listing—which will go live on March 26 at 9 a.m. ET—reveal the space has been decked out in vibrant colors and prints, including patterned wallpapers, framed images of Hannah herself, and a collection of her (albeit fake) gold and platinum albums.
A leopard-print high heel-shaped chair, feather boa-framed pin boards, and a host of sequined Hannah-approved ensembles can also be found in the room.
However, perhaps the most iconic element in the space is the infamous “rotating closet” that Hannah was regularly seen using in the series. Designed with a curved railing that spins at the touch of a button, the closet became one of the most recognizable features in the teen’s room throughout the show.

The interiors of the home were never actually used as a filming location; however, its exterior featured heavily in the series. (Airbnb)
The room has also been set up with a clothing rack that hangs across the door—a nod to the “hidden” space in the show, which Hannah concealed behind her closet in a bid to conceal her true identity as a wealthy, chart-topping pop star.
Interestingly, this actually marks the first time that the home has undergone this kind of transformation; while exterior shots of the property were used when depicting the Stewart family residence in the show, the majority of the interior scenes were filmed on a sound stage in Los Angeles, including Hannah’s room.
“As fans celebrate 20 years of Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana,’ Airbnb is opening the doors to her Malibu beach house, and for the first time ever, inviting guests to step inside her home and discover her legendary dream closet under the same roof—giving fans the chance to experience the best of both worlds,” a press release shared by Airbnb reads.
“Guests will have the opportunity to spend the night inside Hannah’s world, just steps from the ocean and closer than ever to the moments that defined a generation. Inside, guests will discover her legendary closet, where racks burst with glittering stage looks, sequined tops, and bold accessories.
“From the fashion, to the setting, to the spirit of Malibu, the stay offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to relive the moments that made “Hannah Montana” unforgettable.”
For those less eager to live like Hannah—the fictional pop star who lived a double life as both a chart-topping superstar and a regular teen girl named Miley Stewart—the rest of the property offers a much more traditional beach escape, complete with an open-plan kitchen and living room that overlook the beach, as well as six other bedrooms, all of which have a more muted design.
Outside, there is an enormous covered patio where guests can enjoy the sunset over the water, if, that is, they are not relaxing in the hot tub that sits on a sizable deck overlooking the ocean.
Despite the Airbnb listing, the home currently remains on the market—both as a purchasable property and as a long-term rental abode—and the short-term vacation rental company notes that it will only be made available to guests on its site for a short time.

“Ten one-night stays will take place from April 6 through April 16 in Malibu, California, with up to four guests per stay,” the press release adds.
“Guests can submit a request to book beginning March 26 at 6:00 a.m. PST, for $0 per person. Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from Malibu.”
News of the Airbnb listing comes just days after Cyrus hosted the world premiere of the new Disney+ special—where she opened up about how the idea for the anniversary show came about.
Taking to the stage at the event, the songstress recalled the moment that she phoned “Call Her Daddy” podcaster Alex Cooper and asked her to host the special—joking that she had no choice but to hire her because the two are neighbors.
While the anniversary special features appearances from several guests—including Cyrus’ parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus—it was Cooper, 31, who was called upon to interview the singer and actress about her favorite “Hannah Montana” memories.
“I called [Alex] with this wild idea,” Cyrus recalled. “[I said], ‘Do you think it could be a good idea to do a ‘Hannah Montana’ anniversary special?’ But because I was in the middle of it, because I was Hannah, I didn’t know what you all would want.
“And Alex being a superfan—[which is] kinda creepy!—she is also my neighbor, which is also creepy. She got money and then she moved next door to me.”
Cyrus noted that, after learning how close Cooper lived to her, she had little choice but to ask her to host the special, adding: “There was no other host, I was like, just walk next door.”
However, the “Hannah Montana” star did not end her mockery there—going on to accuse Cooper of feigning innocence about the proximity of their properties.
“It was weird, she was like, ‘Oh my god, you live here?'” Cyrus said. “She interviewed me at my house, like five years ago, so [she] knew damn well where I was!”
