Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex launched: Prices, changes & key details

Royal Enfield has added a new variant of its street-focused motorcycle, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, called the Apex. Alongside this, the brand has also updated the Dash variant, adding more equipment. Here’s everything that you need to know.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Apex, Dash trims: Key details

Starting with the updates, the Dash trim now comes with a headlamp grille and knuckle guards as standard. It also gets a revised tyre compound, which the company claims offers around 8 percent better grip in dry conditions and up to 17 percent improved grip on wet roads. However, the spotlight is clearly on the new Guerrilla 450 Apex variant. It features a new aluminium handlebar that is positioned 56 mm lower and 57 mm further forward. This results in a more aggressive and sportier riding posture compared to the standard model. The Apex also uses new tyres sourced from Vredestein, along with minor design updates such as a short flyscreen at the front and a rear cowl. The Apex variant is offered in three colour options: Apex Red, Apex Black and Apex Green. Apart from these changes, the motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the standard version.

The hardware setup includes 43 mm telescopic front forks from Showa with 140 mm of travel and a rear monoshock offering 150 mm of travel with preload adjustment. Braking duties are handled by a 310 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS.In terms of pricing, these are introductory figures and may be revised later. The Apex variant is priced at Rs 2,49,194 for the Red shade, while the Black and Green options cost Rs 2,56,387. The Dash variant starts at Rs 2,49,194 for Twilight Blue and goes up to Rs 2,67,116 for Shadow Ash, Smoke Silver and Peix Bronze.
