The Indianapolis Colts and cornerback Kenny Moore have mutually agreed to seek a trade, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter added that, “Moore is entering the last year of his contract, and both sides feel it is time to explore a trade.”

Moore has been with the Colts since the 2017 season after being undrafted that year and originally signing with the New England Patriots.
During that span, he has provided a reliable presence, oftentimes at the nickel cornerback position. Moore has appeared in 132 games, making 111 starts and made the Pro Bowl in 2021.
Throughout his career, he’s limited pass-catchers, allowing 10.0 yards per catch over his career, including five seasons where he surrendered under 10.0 yards per catch. He’s also had good ball production, generating 22 interceptions and 68 pass deflections.
Not to be overlooked either are Moore’s contributions in the run game and as a blitzer.
Cornerback is a position of strength for the Colts, and without Moore, it sets the stage for Justin Walley to assume that role. The Colts were quite impressed with him last summer before he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
With Moore in the final year of his deal, he is also likely looking for some long-term stability, which the Colts aren’t willing to provide, as they want to get Walley on the field.
