In an interview with Hindustan Times, the interviewer mentioned what he had seen in a local barbershop in Mumbai. He noted that Ackles was hugely popular in India, but for an unexpected reason. He explained how barbershops in India have used Ackles’ “bald” photo to promote hair transplants amongst customers.
The interviewer showed the duo a photo of Ackles’ before and after. In one photo, the Supernatural star is sporting an almost bald dome, and in the second, a head full of hair. Ackles’ hand flew to his mouth in surprise as Starr cracked upon seeing the visual.
The 48-year-old remarked, “Shoutout to the barbershop. It still looks great to this date.” The interviewer poked fun at the Smallville star, asking if he’s “scared” that he’s not getting paid for this. To which Ackles replied, “I’m not scared that I’m not getting paid. I’m scared that I continue to see this picture.”
Starr replied between fits of laughter, “I need that (photo). It’s going on my wall.” The interviewer promised the duo that he would send the photo on Instagram DM. Fans joined in on the laughter journey in the comments section. One fan commented, “hahaha this is so good.”
