It has been a deeply personal experience for the actors to portray these significant figures. The portrayal of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati by Avinesh Rekhi and Shrenu Parikh goes beyond the costumes and pre-written scenes.Speaking about the impact of the role, Avinesh Rekhi shared, “Playing Shiva has been a very grounding experience for me. It is not something you can simply switch on and off like a regular character. Over time, I began to notice small changes in the way I deal with life. Even on set, before certain scenes, I like to take a quiet moment to center myself and give the shot my complete attention. Lord Shiva is known for his stillness and balance, and while trying to understand that for the role, I realised those qualities slowly started becoming a part of how I think and make decisions in my life. In a very quiet way, the character stays with me.”Shrenu Parikh added, “Portraying Goddess Parvati has made me experience the nurturing and protective side of a woman, especially the emotions of motherhood, even before living that phase in my own life. It was a beautiful feeling to explore that depth. Sati, on the other hand, showed me the quiet devotion and adoration a wife can hold for her husband, something I connect with even more in my own journey of marriage. And then, I’ve also portrayed Kaali Maa, who represents a completely different energy, fierce and fearless. Living these forms in the show made me realize how incredible a woman’s spirit is. She can nurture, she can love deeply, and when the moment demands, she can also rise with immense power. My journey on the show has been very special because I have lived so many shades of a woman through these characters.”
