The overall pass percentage for the Bihar Board Class 12 examination 2026 stands at 85.19%. Girls have once again outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 86.23%, compared to 84.09% for boys. The board has also announced a total of 26 toppers, of which 19 are girls, highlighting the strong performance of female students in this year’s results.
What next for BSEB students
Students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate to pass the examination. Those who are not satisfied with their scores will be able to apply for scrutiny or re-evaluation, with details to be announced soon.Candidates who fail in one or more subjects will get a chance to appear for compartment exams, allowing them to improve their scores without losing an academic year.
