The answer key for the CTET February 2026 examination is expected to be released on March 2, 2026, though there has been no official confirmation from the CBSE so far. The provisional key is likely to be made available on the official website – ctet.nic.in – in line with previous release patterns.The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was conducted on February 7 and 8 for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8. In earlier cycles, the provisional answer key was issued within 15 days of the examination. As the anticipated window has passed, several candidates have raised concerns over the delay.Release expected based on past patternAccording to past trends, the provisional answer key is usually uploaded within a fortnight of the examination. With February 28 having passed without any announcement, candidates are now expecting the key to be published today.Once released, candidates will be able to access both the provisional answer key and their individual response sheets through the login portal on ctet.nic.in. The answer key will enable them to estimate their probable scores ahead of the declaration of results.A candidate who appeared for Paper 2 told TOI Education, “It has already been more than two weeks since the exam. We are waiting for the answer key so that we can assess our performance. The CBSE should release it immediately.”Steps to download the answer keyTo download the CTET February 2026 answer key, candidates will need to visit the official website and click on the link titled “Login: CTET Feb 2026 Answer Key” on the homepage. After entering their registration ID and password, the answer key along with the response sheet will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and retain a copy for reference.Objection window and cancelled centresCandidates will also be provided an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key. The CBSE will review the challenges submitted and publish a final answer key thereafter. The CTET result will be prepared on the basis of the final key.Meanwhile, CTET Paper 2 was cancelled at two examination centres in Bihar due to unavoidable circumstances. The affected centres were St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar in Vaishali (Hajipur), and Lakshya International Academy.
