Drake is fueling speculation that he may have just turned in his new album Iceman.
The rapper posted a cryptic Instagram Story early Sunday morning (April 19) featuring a screenshot of a text that read, “Its in,” alongside an image of what looked like an object frozen in ice.
Fans quickly interpreted this as a possible signal that the album had been submitted and could be nearing release.
Still, there is no clear confirmation that the message refers to the album, and the text did not appear to come directly from him.
No official release date has been announced for Iceman. While some fans expect a surprise drop in the near future, DJ Akademiks has suggested Drake should hold off longer “cuz his haters becoming delusional.”

There is also speculation that one more livestream tied to the album could arrive before the release, possibly alongside another single or multiple tracks.
Last week, Drake seemed to tease Iceman by sharing a photo to Instagram showing a pair of frosted courtside seats at the Toronto Raptors’ Scotiabank Arena.
Drake’s last solo studio album was For All the Dogs, which was released in October 2023. A deluxe edition, subtitled Scary Hours Edition, arrived the following month. His collaborative album with Partynextdoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, was released in February, 2025. The album was notably released following Drake’s headline-heavy feud with Kendrick Lamar.
