Dubai Airports Update March 31: IndiGo, Air India continue operations; Qatar Airways, Lufthansa and other airlines also issue advisories

Together, IndiGo and Air India Group continue to operate limited flights to and from Dubai Airports and destinations in the UAE. The Indian carriers have shared a fresh travel update for passengers travelling between Indian and West Asia. However, airlines are continuously adjusting schedules and issuing travel advisories. IndiGo’s travel advisory IndiGo updated its travel advisory and shared the list of latest travel flights scheduled to operate on March 31. IndiGo’s latest advisory reads,“During these challenging times, IndiGo remains focused on ensuring customers reach their intended destinations. The below flights are scheduled to operate tomorrow across Middle East as part of this effort.We encourage you to check your flight status http://bit.ly/31paVKQ regularly for the latest updates. Our teams are working round the clock to ensure you receive the support you need. We sincerely thank you for your patience and for continuing to trust us.”

The airline further advises passengers to stay updated on flight status and follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.Air India and Air Express update“Air India and Air India Express will together operate 36 scheduled and non-scheduled flights, to and from the West Asia region on 31 March 2026.”Other global airlines statusKLM AirlineDutch airline KLM has also issued a travel update which states that KLM won’t be flying to or from Dubai up to and including Sunday May 17 2026.Lufthansa Lufthansa updated that both DXB and DWC in Dubai are reducing the flight numbers. This is why Lufthansa, SWISS, ITA Airways and Austrian Airlines have suspended flights to Dubai until at least Sunday May 31.Qatar AirwaysQatar Airways has announced that it is resuming a limited flight schedule. For those who have a confirmed booking with a travel date up between Saturday February 28 and Thursday April 30, they are eligible for:Two complimentary date changes of up to Sunday May 31 Refund of the unused value of your ticket.Turkish Airlines All flights remain suspended to the UAE until at least the end of March.British Airways All British Airways flights to Dubai, Amman, Bahrain and Tel Aviv are cancelled up to and including Sunday May 31.Meanwhile travellers should know: Travel to the airport only if the flight tickets are confirmedStay connected with their airlines directlyBe ready with their travel documents Allow extra time for security checks It is a way through which airlines are maintaining essential connectivity between the nations and helping stranded travellers amid regional tensions while taking care of all safety measures.
