About ‘13 Going on 30’ reboot
The ‘13 Going on 30’ reimagined film will be directed by Brett Haley, who recently helmed Emily Henry’s adaptation of ‘People We Meet on Vacation.’ Along with Emily Bader, new joiners include Logan Lerman, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Jessica Alba, Adeline Rudolph, Taylor Ortega, Tim Meadows and Dan Bucatinsky, per Variety. However, there is no update on whether Mark Ruffalo and Andy Serkis will reprise their roles. “I’m going to go [and] see if I can bump around and see if they’ll put me in somewhere,” Garner joked in an interview with the outlet about visiting the set, before adding, “Maybe I could be in the background of whatever the ‘Thriller’ scene is.” The original film revolved around Jenna Rink, the 13-year-old teenager who wished to be older and woke up in the future as her 30-year-old self working as a Magazine editor. As for the new film, the release has not been announced yet.
