The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the provisional answer key for the State Eligibility Test 2025 on its official website. Candidates who appeared in the examination can access the answer key to review their responses and calculate their probable scores.The State Eligibility Test was conducted across examination centres in Madhya Pradesh in a single session. The commission has now published the provisional answer key for question papers so that candidates can compare their recorded answers with the official responses before the final key is issued.Examination conducted under SET notificationThe State Eligibility Test 2025 was conducted following Advertisement No. 01/2025 issued by MPPSC. The examination was organised in one session and included objective-type questions in two papers.Paper I consisted of questions related to teaching and research aptitude, while Paper II covered optional subjects. Subjects covered in the examinationThe provisional answer key includes responses for all four question paper sets — A, B, C and D. Paper II of the examination covered 31 optional subjects from multiple academic disciplines.The subjects include Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science and Applications, Criminology, Defence and Strategic Studies, Economics, English, Earth Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Law, Library and Information Science, Biology, Management, Marathi, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Stage Art, Philosophy, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sanskrit Traditional Subjects, Sociology, Urdu, Visual Arts and Yoga.Procedure to raise objectionsCandidates who identify discrepancies in the provisional answer key can submit objections through the online facility available on the MPPSC website. Objections must be submitted within five days from the date the objection link becomes available on the commission’s website.While submitting objections, candidates are required to provide certified references including the name of the reference book, author, relevant page number, publication year and edition. Supporting documents must be uploaded along with the objection.The commission has stated that objections submitted after the five-day period will not be accepted, and no further correspondence regarding such representations will be considered.Marking scheme and score calculationThe MP SET examination consists of objective-type questions. Candidates are awarded two marks for every correct response. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, and unanswered questions do not lead to any deduction.Candidates can estimate their expected score by multiplying the number of correct responses by two after checking the provisional answer key.
