Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are set to reunite over three decades since starring together in the hit film ‘When Harry Met Sally’. The co-stars are reportedly set to come togehter on-stage at the upcoming Academy Awards to pay special tribute to their director Rob Reiner.The duo, who worked together on Reiner’s directorial ‘When Harry Met Sally’, will appear together during the In Memoriam segment of the awards show, where Crystal is expected to speak about the actor and director, Variety reports. The tribute at the Oscars is expected to celebrate Reiner’s contribution to cinema. He was also remembered during the Golden Globes and the recent Actor Awards, held on Sunday.

Rob Reiner’s death case

Rob and his wife, Michele, were found stabbed to death at their Brentwood home on December 14. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, both died from “multiple sharp force injuries.” Police arrested their son, Nick Reiner, several miles (kilometers) away from the scene of the crime later that night. He now faces two counts of first-degree murder over the double killing that sent shockwaves through Hollywood days before Christmas.

Nick Reiner pleads not guilty

As per the latest reports, the 32-year-old pleaded ‘not guilty’ during a court appearance at Los Angeles Superior Court on February 23. Nick, who remains in jail and has not been granted bail, was ordered to return to court on April 29. If convicted as charged, Reiner could face life in prison without parole, or the death penalty, although California does not routinely carry out capital punishment.
