The newly added list of shows on The Roku Channel form a true nostalgia powerhouse as they represent the different eras of television history.
The black and white golden era of the medium is represented by shows like Lassie, Leave It to Beaver, Rawhide, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and The Carol Burnett Show. The best of television from the ’70s and ’80s is represented by shows like Little House on the Prairie, The Joy of Painting, Saved by the Bell, In the Heat of the Night, and Murder, She Wrote. More modern classics like Baywatch, Home Improvement, Stargate Atlantis, Bones, and Heartland represent the ’90s and 2000s. Finally, The Goldbergs is the most recent offering, as it aired for 10 seasons from 2013 to 2023.
Between all of Roku’s new channels, users have access to hundreds of hours of popular classic shows. That is in addition to the wide variety of other channels that were previously available on the service, which include some of the most beloved movies and TV shows of all time.
