A 94% satisfaction score among players reflected what many described as a high-quality competition driven by passionate crowds and a vibrant match-day atmosphere.

Packed stadiums, growing fan loyaltySeason 4 witnessed sustained demand, with 22 of 34 matches sold out and overall stadium occupancy reaching 84%. The final, held at Newlands, was a sell-out for the fourth straight year, where Sunrisers Eastern Cape clinched a historic third title.Fan engagement remained a standout feature. Surveys indicated that 92% of attendees were satisfied with their match-day experience, while 90% said they would recommend the league. In India, the tournament gained further traction, with JioStar recording an 11% increase in linear audience reach, while JioHotstar saw a 33% surge in video views. Media reach in the country jumped by 257%, reflecting expanding interest in the competition.Digital surge and social impactSA20’s digital ecosystem also recorded strong growth, with a 40% increase in followers, a 146% rise in video views, and a 21% jump in website users.Off the field, the league continued its development initiatives. The SA20 learnership programme provided hands-on experience to 24 young professionals across tournament operations. Meanwhile, the league raised R590,000 for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation South Africa, with more than 400 beneficiaries attending a live match for the first time.SA20 commissioner Graeme Smith said the turnout and engagement reflected a deepening connection between fans and franchises, adding that the league continues to balance “premium entertainment” with long-term impact on South African cricket.
