The wedding festivities began earlier this week, with haldi and sangeet ceremonies hosted in Mumbai on March 3 and 4.In February, Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar personally met Eknath Shinde at his official residence, Nandanvan, in Mumbai to invite him to the ceremony. Sachin also extended wedding invitations to President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for the celebrations.
