Shaheen Holloway continues to build his next roster at Seton Hall.
The Pirates on Thursday landed a pledge from 6-foot-6 Loyola Marymount transfer guard Rodney Brown Jr., per Tobias Bass.
Brown averaged 14.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 43% from the field and 38% from deep (23-of-58). As a sophomore at Virginia Tech, he shot 42% from deep.
The Pirates also added G League forward Nathan Mariano, Texas transfer guard Simeon Wilcher, Radford transfer guard Del Jones, Xavier transfer guard Roddie Anderson and Dartmouth transfer Kareem Thomas, as well as four-star high school guard Darien Moore.
Thomas 15.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game last year, while shooting 44.7% from 3 (46-of-103).
“My priority is going to be shooting the basketball,” Holloway said after the season. “Get some shooters, just bring guys in that fit me and fit the program, but definitely shooting is going to be a big priority.
