Producer Joby George has been sentenced to four years in prison in a visa fraud case by the PMLA Court in Kochi. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 66.5 lakh for cheating people by promising jobs and business opportunities in the UK. One victim from Muvattupuzha reportedly paid Rs 50 lakh for a UK visa that was never arranged. Another couple from Mulanthuruthy was also cheated, leading to the combined four-year jail term and fine.
