'Vishnu Vinyasam' OTT release: When and where to watch Sree Vishnu’s astrology-based romantic drama
Sree Vishnu’s astrology-based romantic drama, ‘Vishnu Vinyasam’, has landed on OTT platform Prime Video after a profitable theatrical run. The film, which released on February 27, 2026, explores a unique romance intertwined with horoscopes and numerology. Praised for its light humor and grounded performances, the movie offers a breezy watch with strong supporting acts.

‘Vishnu Vinyasam’, starring Sree Vishnu received decent reviews from the audiences and even though it didn’t do any wonders at the box office, the astrology based romantic drama was reportedly a profitable venture. After completing its theatrical run, the film has entered the OTT space this week. It originally released in theatres on February 27, 2026 and the Telugu romantic drama is now available for streaming on Prime Video.

A unique astrology-based romance

Directed by Yadunaath Maruthi Rao, Vishnu Vinyasam blends romance with astrology and numerology where the story revolves around Vishnu who is a young man who strongly believes in horoscopes and cosmic alignment. He accepts a marriage proposal after matching horoscopes with a colleague. However things take a turn when he realizes that the woman has a hidden intention.

Characters and performances

Sree Vishnu plays Vishnu who is a numerology-obsessed lecturer and his life is structured around numbers and precise planning. The story shifts when he meets Junnu, played by Nayana Sarika. Unlike Vishnu, Junnu is driven by emotional uncertainty and their contrasting personalities create both tension and chemistry.

Box office performance

During its theatrical run, ‘Vishnu Vinyasam’ managed to collect close to Rs 18 crore worldwide according to the Sacnilk website. While it did not create major records, it found its audience among fans of light romantic dramas.

What reviews say

The ETimes review states, “Sree Vishnu slips comfortably into this space. He plays the character with a straight face, allowing the absurdity of situations to generate laughs organically.”The review also praises the supporting cast, saying, “Satya, as expected, provides steady comic relief, often elevating scenes with his timing and expressions. Their exchanges form some of the film’s most consistently entertaining stretches.”On the female lead, it notes, “Nayan Sarika brings softness and sincerity to Junnu. She doesn’t overplay the character’s apprehensions, which helps the romantic tension feel grounded.”It further adds, “The early portions of the film benefit from this balance, light humour, gentle romance and conversational chemistry that keeps things breezy.”The film also features Satya, Murali Sharma and Brahmaji in important roles.
