The Los Angeles Clippers have had a pretty troubling season so far. Of the 15 games they have played, the team has lost 11 of them, and quite a few of their star players have missed a majority of the season. One of the major ones being Kawhi Leonard, who has missed 10 straight games after an ankle strain on his right leg. He suffered the injury on November 3 against the Miami Heat and ever since then, he has been out of the court.But recent reports suggest he could be making a comeback on November 23 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Clippers are playing two back to back games – the first against the Charlotte Hornets, and the next against the Cavs. James Harden, who has also missed 8 games this season, finally managed to return to the court against the Hornets, and now, rumor has it, Leonard will be making his comeback in the next game.
Kawhi Leonard rumored to come back after 10 games
Ever since the game against the Miami Heat on November 3, Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has been sidelined for 10 consecutive games. Almost 20 days since then, the 34-year-old is rumored to finally get back courtside for the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on November 23. Unfortunately for the Clippers, they have a lot of injuries on their roster at the moment, and the news of Leonard finally making a return is as good as it gets.Other than Leonard, James Harden has also missed around 8 games so far this season. Bradley Beal has been ruled out for the entirety of the season with a hip injury. And after their game against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, November 16 – they have lost Derrick Jones Jr. with an injury to his right knee for the next 6 weeks. He has since been diagnosed with a sprained MCL. With their roster so weak at the moment, it comes as a positive news that Kawhi Leonard could finally make his return to the team to push them up on the scoreboard. The player has averaged around 24.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
