Ram Charan will next be seen in the upcoming sports action drama, ‘Peddi,’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film has been in production for quite some time and fans have been eagerly waiting to watch it. As per the latest, the makers have now wrapped up the shoot as they focus on post-production work.
Cinematographer Rathnavelu shares post
The film’s cinematographer, Rathnavelu, has officially confirmed that the shoot is completed. He took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to write: “It’s a wrap for Mega power star @AlwaysRamCharan ! #Peddi -A Memorable journey. Working with #RC has been truly special. A powerhouse performer on screen and a wonderful friend off it. Grateful for the memories we’ve created together. @BuchiBabuSana @arrahman @vriddhicinemas.“In the post, he also shared pictures from their time working together. A snap shows them jetting off, where the ‘RRR’ star and the cinematographer can be seen sitting side by side. He also put a still from the film where Ram Charan is shown involved in a wrestling match. Another picture shows them from their early days.Fans shared their excitement in the post, using fire and heart emojis and are pleased to find the update.Earlier, the film was set to hit the big screens on March 27, but it got delayed as the makers announced an April 30 release. However, it got further pushed back as they shared that it will be coming out in June. They shared a message saying, “We want to give our audience nothing but the best. #PEDDI in cinemas this June.”
Speculated ‘Peddi’ release date
As per a 123Telugu report, it is now suggested that the makers are expected to release the film on June 25th, 2026. However, an official announcement is awaited.

The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles. The music is composed by AR Rahman. The movie is also reported to have a special song with Shruti Haasan dancing with Ram Charan.
