Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly shares a close bond not just with producer Rajan Shahi, but also with his daughter Ishika Shahi, the creator behind digital projects like Jabb Zodiacs Met and Heer Sharma Gayi. Rupali says, “I love Ishika. I have always felt she is like my daughter from a previous birth because she is one of the kindest souls I have met. She is a genuine animal lover and someone who is extremely emotional and sensitive.”Speaking about Ishika’s creative voice, she adds, “She has a rare talent for blending tradition with modernity. The stories she has created, Jabb Zodiacs Met and Heer Sharma Gayi, reflect a Gen Z mindset, but they are rooted in strong emotions and values.”Rupali acknowledges the responsibility Ishika carries as she steps into the industry. “Her legacy is vast, nearly 95 years in this industry. That is a huge responsibility, but she carries it with ease. What really helps is the right support system, especially her father Rajan Shahi.”She further adds, “Rajan ji is a wonderful maker and an even better father. I have seen him support Ishika wherever she needs guidance. At the same time, he allows her the freedom to think independently. Even though, as a creator with his experience, it is natural to want to step in, he chooses to be a safety net rather than interfere.
